Birthdays

Today started the celebration of Preston's 2nd birthday. Yes, SECOND!! I can hardly believe it! I mean, it seems like yesterday I was writing these blog posts. Crazy! So much has happened in these crazy 2 years but Preston has filled our home with so much joy.

Preston, you are definitely all boy. You love to run, play rough, act like animals and play with your brothers. You are full of smiles all the time. You light up a room the second you come in. You have learned very early how to use your cuteness to get what you want. I simply cannot resist it when you give me your pouty eyes and use the sign for please and tilt your head down. It gets me every single time. You are definitely more challenging than your older brother but I wouldn't change it for anything. I love you so much and I love watching you grow and learn.

We started this weekend with a visit to the circus. We were supposed to go 2 years ago but you decided to surprise us a couple of weeks early so Grandma and Pappa got to take Carter while we were in the hospital. We then drove around a little bit and showed Carter his first home he lived in for 5 months. We ate lunch at Corner Bakery and then went to the library to turn in your reading logs. You LOVE to read. You would sit there all day long and let someone read books to you. Afterwards, we went back into Dallas and met up with Alyssa, Chris, and Isabelle at Cheesecake Factory. We had a fun filled day and have more to come this weekend.

Disney World!!!!

We are going to Disney World!!! I think I am the one that is the most excited. Carter gets excited when we talk about it but I'm like a 5 year old excited. I am so not a planner by anymeans and love to just go wiht the flow. However, things are so different with this trip. I want to plan out every minute of it. I want to see it all and I want my kids to have the best vacation. We aren't going until February so we have a very long time to get even more excited and plan. I think we are going to go to Disney World on Tuesday and spend 2 days in a park...thinking Magic Kingdom and Epcot and rest for another day. Then on Saturday we are going to Port Canaveral and head out to sea on a Disney Cruise!!! This will be me and the kids first cruise and first time for the kids to go out of the country. We are going with John's sister, her family and John's mom and dad and we are all in rooms right next to each other. They are actually in connecting rooms and we are directly across the hall. We have the cruise booked and deposit has been paid, however, Disney hasn't released their rates for WDW for next year yet so we haven't booked that part. I have to get back to working but had to let a little bit of my excitement out!!!!

Crafting

I have always wanted to be the type to like to craft. I love the idea of it and I love the end results but I just can't committ to doing it. I will go shopping and buy the materials but then end up never doing it. I see so many of my friends that have so much fun making and creating things by themselves and with their kids. I just don't have that gene...?? I guess editing photographs is my crafting? hmmmmm....

I'm Back

Where do I even start??? These past few months have been so crazy. Life as a family of 5 is never dull, even though we don't live a very exciting life by any means.

Here's a list to catch everyone up:

1. Preston is about to turn 2.
2. Liam is about to turn 1.
3. John and I are members of 24 Hour Fitness and are on our way to getting healthy.
4. We are planning our first family vacation!!! DISNEY WORLD and a DISNEY CRUISE
5. Liam is a week or two away from crawling.
6. Liam is a huge lover of food.
7. Liam had tubes put in a couple of months ago.

hmmmm...that's all I can think of for now.
